About the Ełk Civic Budget:

The Civic Budget is a separate part of the budget of our city, the purpose of which is decided by its residents. On September 21, the Ełk Civic Budget – 2027 edition – will be launched. The amount of funds allocated for this purpose is PLN 1,000,000.

You have an impact on the reality around us! The Civic Budget is a tool that allows residents to decide on projects and investments implemented in our city.

EBO in a nutshell:

1. Submitting projects. Do you have an idea for a project that can be implemented? Submit the application form, which you can find on website of the Ełk Civic Budget and in the Office of Cooperation with Non-Governmental Organizations of the Ełk City Hall. The project requires the support of at least 50 residents of the city.
2. Evaluation of projects. We will assess your application in terms of formality. Applications are also analyzed in terms of the possibility of their implementation. Projects that have passed the verification are put to a vote.
3. Voting. You can vote using a paper ballot paper or electronically on the website of the Ełk Civic Budget. Cast one vote for an investment project and one vote for a non-investment project.

Ełk Civic Budget – 2027 edition:

1. Submission of projects: September 21 - October 12, 2026
2. Project evaluation: September 22 to November 10, 2026
3. Vote: 11-25 November 2026
4. Selection of projects and announcement of results: by 30 November 2026
