20 October 2026, Author: Marcin Dębiński

On October 20, the European Day of the Elderly is celebrated. It is one of several days of the year dedicated to the elderly

The European Senior Citizens' Day is a unique holiday that directs our thoughts to the elderly in a special way. They occupy not only an important place in the hearts of their loved ones, but also in the whole society.

One of the most important tasks for seniors is the fight against exclusion, facilitating access to medical care and access to a full cultural and social life. Many elderly people are increasingly involved in help and volunteering, as well as developing their interests. That is why various forms of activation and initiatives are increasingly organized to help seniors not only develop, but also to experience a second youth.

We would like to thank all people experiencing their autumn of life for the fact that, despite often many difficult life experiences, you have raised successive generations, given life lessons and done extraordinary things. Your children and grandchildren can be proud of the fact that you have shown them support, care and love many times. We wish you health, a lot of joy, serenity and constant passion and willingness to develop your interests for the years to come.
