Within the framework of the project "development of bike paths along the river Elk along with supporting infrastructure in Elk" carried out three tasks:

1. Reconstruction of the section of the bike path in the City Beach. Park

The work consisted of m.in. on:

• retrofitting bicycle paths – execution of asphalt pavement
• creation of sites to support a bike (bicycle repair kits, tables with benches and bike racks)
• install LED lighting (partially equipped with motion detector)
  

2. Reconstruction of the section of path on foot-hiking in the framework of the implementation of the V stage Copernicus Park (at ul. Park)

Investment has agreed to was episode from the bridge at the mouth of the river Elk, along parts of recreational sports Park environmental education Center until Nicolaus Copernicus.

The work consisted of:

• the exchange of surface foot paths – cycling on asphalt
• installing the park bench and stands for bicycles.
• LED lighting was installed (partly equipped with sensitive motion detector)
• the cover of trees, shrubs, ornamental grasses and perennials

3. Reconstruction of the bike connector-bridge on the river Elk (Green Bridge)

The work consisted of:

• removing the old and installing the new bridge on the river
• the creation of the zone to rest with (m.in. in the Park walls with facings granite, wooden benches to seat, pots of greenery in walls, as well as other elements of small architecture.
• Installing LED lighting (partially equipped with motion detector)
• land vegetation.

Obtained funding from the EU-more than 4.4 million.

Funds come from the European regional development fund under the regional operational programme of Warmia-Masurian for the period 2014-2020.
