Construction of the second part of Cologne Street

The city of Elk has signed a contract to finance the construction of Cologne Street from the junction on the national road 16 and 65 to the city limits of Elk. Total project value is about 10 000. PLN 4.6 million, of which approx. PLN 4 million is an EU grant.  

The tender was settled and a contract was signed for the construction of the second part of Cologne street with a length of 1.39 km. 16 and 65 to the administrative boundaries of the city. This is a continuation of the investment carried out in 2016-2017, where the first part of Cologne Street has been rebuilt (from the city centre towards national roads 16 and 65).

Investment carried out q3 2020 - IV quarter of 2021.

The scope of work is m.in:

·         construction of road surface

·         construction of a walking-bike path

·         construction of descents

·         construction of street lighting (46 lanterns with luminaires LED)

·         construction of teletechnical sewerage

·         reconstruction of the telecommunications network

Total project value is approx. 10 000 euro 4, 6 million PLN

Funding for implementation of the project is almost PLN 4 million

Own contribution of the city of Elk is approx. 10 000 euro 680,000 £10

A project implemented in within the Framework of the Regional Operational Programme of the Warmia and Mazury Region 2014-2020 co-financed by the European Development Fund Regional.
