Receipt of applications for the determination of entitlement to family benefits, a good start and from the maintenance fund

Criteria Profitable:

Benefits from the maintenance fund will be granted from 1 October, if the family income per person in the family does not exceed 900 $1.00.

Parental benefit (500+) – the income criterion has been abolished. From 1 July 2019, the for each child.

Family benefits are due if the income family per person in the family does not exceed PLN 674, the criterion for a family with a child 764 PLN.

Rules submission of applications:

Application for a benefit from the maintenance fund:

If the applicant submits a completed application by 31 August, the granting and payment of the benefit for the October will be october 31.

Assembly application in September will result in the determination of the right to benefits and their payment for October and November will occur no later than 30 November. In the event that the application is submitted in October, the granting and payment of the benefit for October, November and December will take place no later than 31 December.

Note. Please note that as a result of the application later than October, the right to parental benefit will be fixed from the month of submission of the application, without compensation for the earlier months within the applicable benefit period.

Proposals for the determination of the right to family allowances:

When a person the applicant will submit an application together with the required documents up to 31 august, the determination of entitlement to benefits and their payment will take place by 30 November. Applications for benefits (500+)

The request for the granting of parental benefit should be submitted only if the family a new/next child will be born. Such applications may be submitted online using the portal EMP@TIA, PUE ZUS and through electronic banking and traditional (paper) in the Faculty of Benefits of the City of Elk at ul. Piłsudski 6 or by post.

Applications for a Good Start (300 zł for a school trip)

From August 1, applications for payment benefits will be accepted by traditional means (paper applications) in the Faculty of Benefits of the City of Elk at ul. Piłsudski 6. However, due to the ongoing epidemic, we encourage (via electronic banking, PUE ZUS or emp@tia portal). Applications may be submitted within 30 November 2020

Who is entitled to the benefit?

Service "Good start" - entitled once a year for the beginning of the school year children to 20 years of age. Children with disabilities studying at school will receive until they reach the age of 24. The benefit is not preschoolers, "zero" students and students.

How to get good start?

To receive support, an application must be submitted. This can be done by mom or dad of the child, caregiver or the guardian of the child's de facto (i.e. the one who has lodged an application with the adoption of a child) and, in the case of children in custody, replacement parent, the person who runs the child's family home or director of the care and education institution.
