Modernization of traffic lights

In On Monday 24 August, work will begin on the modernisation of the traffic lights at three Ełów intersections. As the first the intersection of Kiliński – Parkowa – Polish Army streets will be modernized. The scope of work includes m.in. switching off the signalling, replacing the controller and signal cables. Temporary traffic obstructions are foreseen.

As part of the project "Developing sustainable public transport in The city of Elk" will be modernised traffic lights at three intersections in Elk.

During the work, it was planned to temporarily turn off the traffic lights, m.in will also be listed. controllers, wiring, light indicators, cameras and other signalling accessories. The work carried out will cause temporary difficulties in traffic at intersections, including the temporary exclusion of traffic at intersections traffic lights. The modernization is aimed at improving the movement of public transport buses.

The modernisation of the traffic lights shall include:

- intersection of Kiliński - Parkowa - Polish Army
(planned start date - 24 August 2020)

- crossroads of the Polish Army - pedestrian crossing between ul. Kosciuszki and Park

(planned start date - 2 September 2020)

- cross between the Polish Army - Kościuszki

(planned start date - 8 September 2020)

The completion of all work at all intersections is planned 14 September 2020.

Note! Changes to the schedule are possible drivers and residents will be kept informed.
