From 8 September, the modernisation of traffic lights begins at the intersection of Kościuszki street and The PolishArmy. The scope of work includes temporarily switching off the traffic lights, which may cause temporary difficulties for the on the move (especially at the exit from Kosciuszko street to the left). Introduced speed limit of 30 km/h.

In order to liquefy it is suggested to use alternative access to ul. polish army or Mickiewicz.

Last year, week, the work was carried out at the intersection of Kiliński – Parkowa – Polish army. Signalling at the aisle is currently being upgraded pedestrians between ul. Kosciuszki and Parkowa.

The scope of work on all intersections include:

• temporary switch-off of the traffic light,
• replacement of controllers,
• replacement of wiring,
• replacement of light signals,
• replacement of the cameras and other signalling equipment.

Upgraded intersections are part of the project "The development of sustainable public transport in City of Elk." The aim is to improve the movement of public transport buses.

Note! Possible changes to the work schedule, which drivers and residents will be informed of on an ongoing basis.
