Government Fund for Local Investment – 100 000

This year, the City of Elk received almost 8 million support from Government Local Investment Fund

The amounts of grants for individual local authorities were based on the relationship between property and wealth of municipalities and counties. The funds come from the state budget and are non-refundable support under the Local Government Shield, in relation to the burdens associated with the counteracting the COVID-19 pandemic.

The support received by the City of Elk has been three urban investments started:

1.       Expansion of Primary School Base No. 5 per wasps. Jeziorna – 2 711 977 PLN (the investment is carried out with own, the added part of the school is 6 457.63 m2 of three above-ground floors and one underground);

2.       Thermomodernization of public buildings - El schools and kindergartens – PLN 3,297,355 (a project 2014-2020, RFIL funds have been for the city's own contribution to the investment, the project covered its scope thermomodernization of educational facilities, two schools: Primary School No. 3, Primary School No. 9, as well as four kindergartens: Little Explorers, Forget-Me-Not, Sunny Eight, Light);

3.       Construction of ul. Norwida in Elk on the stretch from junction with Emilia Plater street to ul. Matejki – £1,977,524 (a project implemented by the Local Government Roads Fund, RFIL funds have been the city's own contribution to the investment, the scope of the project is the construction of pavements, pavements, cycle paths, construction of street lighting, teletechnical, rainwater, sanitation and the reconstruction of the energy, water and gas).
