Thermomodernization reduces the demand for heat and thus reduces the cost of while improving thermal comfort. Also thermomodernization of the building consists in making changes that will reduce the heat escape and provide more economical and energy-efficient heating interior water and domestic water.

Investment in The Municipal Kindergarten "Little Explorers" includes:

• insulation of the roof and walls Building
• replacement of 68 pieces of windows together with window sills and 2 pieces of doors,
• replacement of the central installation heating (106 heaters have been replaced),
• renovation of roofing material and Chimneys
• execution of demolition works with the removal and disposal of
• replacement of hot water installations Usable
• replacement of lighting fixtures External
• replacement of cellar wells,
• replacement of steel railings,
• restore to state damaged or devastated walls, ceilings, floors, ceilings, paved surfaces and green spaces following the work carried out by the Construction.

Cost of work "Little Explorers" kindergarten is the amount of 928 thousand. $1.00.  The investment was carried out as part of a project co-financed by the european Union funds under the RPO of the Warmia and Mazury Region for 2014-2020. The own contribution of the Municipality of Elk was supported by government funds Local Investment Fund in the amount of PLN 281 790.34.
