There is a growing interest in replacing old furnaces in Elk

The city provides subsidies for the modernization of heating. Last year there was a record of grants awarded, where a total of 125 applications for the amount of PLN 357 400 were successful. You can also use the Government Clean Air Program to replace the old furnace and thermomodernise your home.

The City of Elk attaches great importance to the support of residents through financial support for the replacement and modernization of coal boilers for ecological, i.e. gas, oil, electric, biomass or connection to the municipal network c.o. Thanks to the replacement of old heating boilers, residents will gain cleaner air.

In 2020, President Elk signed a total of 125 contracts for the amount of PLN 357,400. Since the beginning of the grant, a total of 1148 furnaces have been replaced to the residents and the amount of support reaches almost PLN 2.5 million.

For funding for an investment related to the modernisation of the heating system of a building

persons, housing communities, legal persons and persons

and traders if they comply with the requirements laid down in the regulations. The amount of the one-time grant is up to PLN 3,000.

One of the conditions for obtaining the aid is the elimination of all existing

coal furnaces in the property. The subsidy is not subject to the replacement of old heating

gas, oil and electricity - for a new source of heat. They cannot apply for a grant

entities that have benefited from this form of support in previous years.

You can also use the Government Clean Air Program prepared for lower-income Poles to replace cinderella and thermomodernization of the house.

In the program you can receive a grant of up to 37 thousand PLN.

In order to benefit from the grant, you need a certificate of income, which is issued

at the Elk City Office in the Faculty of Benefits.

The program is primarily aimed at eliminating old heating boilers and encouraging complex thermomodernization of houses.

The programme has made changes to facilitate grant procedures:

simplification of the grant application
subsidies for insulation work for those who have already replaced the heat source
possibility of combining the Clean Air Programme with municipal programmes

The city of Elk as another municipality joins the process of implementing the Clean Air Programme

signing an agreement on its implementation with the Regional Protection Fund

Environment and Water Management in Olsztyn.

Municipalities, on the basis of the agreements concluded, assist their residents in the

applications for funding, they may also accept applications for funding and carry out their initial verification. This facilitates access to the Programme for residents of these municipalities and streamlines the process of its implementation on their territory.

The Elk City Council is preparing to implement a position serving people who want to take advantage of the Clean Air Programme.
