Polish Association of Pensioners Pensioners and Invalids conduct charity activities and provide assistance members of the Association in social and living matters. It also organizes and leads libraries, reading rooms, common rooms, senior clubs and artistic groups. Moreover publishes its own press and conducts information activities in the field of problems pensioners, pensioners and invalids. It also organizes holiday stays and Rehabilitation.

According to the results of the National Population and Housing Census of 2011 number of people at the end of March 2011 it was about 4.7 million disabled.
