Today it entered into life Regulation of the Minister of Climate and Environment on the template of the application for payment of the carbon allowance. Poles who use coal as raw materials for heating your household, they can receive government support in the amount of PLN 3,000.

Applications may be submitted:

• electronically using the ePUAP platform
• on paper in the Ełk City Hall in the Department of Benefits - Service Room Customer at Marsz. Józefa Piłsudskiego 6 hours: Monday 8-16, Tuesday – Friday 7:30 - 15:30.

An application for a carbon allowance can be submitted until 30.11.2022 Application for payment of the carbon allowance submitted after 30.11.2022 will be left unexamined.

The carbon allowance is granted to a person on the farm where the main source of household heating is:

• solid fuel boiler,
• fireplace
• goat
• air heater,
• kitchen shaft,
• stove,
• coal kitchen,
• tiled stove for solid fuel (powered by solid fuels) entered or reported to the central register of emissivity of buildings - by fuels solid is understood as hard coal, briquettes or pellets containing at least 85% of hard coal.

The carbon allowance is once: 3000 PLN for both a single-person household and a household multi-person;

A household shall be understood as:

1) a natural person living alone and the farmer (single-person household) or

2) a natural person and persons related to him, or unrelated persons in a de facto relationship, living together with her and farming (multi-person household).

For the purpose of applying for the allowance It is assumed that one person can be part of only one Household.

Where an application for payment of the carbon allowance for a multi-person household submitted by more than one person, this allowance shall be granted to the applicant who has submitted such an application as first.

The carbon allowance is not due to a person on the farm domestic fuel for which solid fuel was purchased, at the price and from entrepreneurs referred to in Article 2(1) of the Act of 23 June 2022. on special arrangements for the protection of consumers of certain fuels constant in connection with the situation on the market of these fuels (Journal of Laws, item 1477).
