On September 14 In 2022, a contract was signed for the renovation of 49 graves of soldiers of the Polish Army located in the municipal cemetery No. 1 in Ełk at ul. Cemetery as part of the task entitled "Renovation of graves of soldiers of the Polish Army from II world war in Ełk", which received funding from the state budget in accordance with The Agreement No. PS-VII.5230.1.9.2022 on entrusting the Municipality conducting a task in the field of government administration, concerning the obligation maintenance of war graves and cemeteries of 10 May 2022

Value co-financing from the state budget is PLN 190,000.

The total value is PLN 190,000.

Scope of work includes, among others:

• dismantling covers of the monument, cross, terrazzo stele with an inscription plate,

• photograph Framework

• Clearing and grinding the frame,

• Embedding the above-mentioned frame on joists/foundations and leveling it,

• setting a cover, a cross and a stele made of Strzegom stone,

• execution on the stele of inscriptions in black by sandblasting,

• Play and restoration to the original state of greenery, and if necessary, replenishment soil with its leveling and sowing of grass.

Conclusion works in accordance with the signed contract are to take place in December 2022.
