The electrical allowance is entitled to household electricity customers, where the main The source of household heating is supplied with electricity from one of the following sources:

1) heat pump

2) electric heating / boiler electric

and the source has been reported, or entered into the Central Emission Register of Buildings.

Applications for an electrical allowance can be submit by 1 February 2023:

• Electronically via the ePUAP platform
• behind by post to the address of the City of Ełk, Department of Benefits ul. Piłsudskiego 6 in Ełk
• paper in the Ełk City Hall in the Department of Benefits - Customer Service Room at Piłsudskiego 6 in hours: Monday 8-16, Tuesday – Friday 7.30 – 15.30

The amount of the electrical allowance has been differentiated according to the annual electricity consumption of the entitled person Household.

• In if the consumption in 2021 did not exceed 5 MWh, the amount of the supplement is 1000 PLN
• If Household electricity consumption in 2021  exceeded 5 MWh, then the amount The allowance is 1500 zł. To get an electrical allowance in an increased amount, the application must be accompanied by a settlement with the energy company, confirming electricity consumption in 2021 exceeding 5 MWh.

The electrical allowance shall be paid in by 31 March 2023.
