In As part of the investment, a special play zone for the youngest children was created (approx. 1 – 1.5 years) with a shading gazebo. A "field kitchen" was created for games for children, sensory path and toy zone where there are 6 personal swing with seats for babies, play set with slide and sandpit, spring rockers, obstacle course and educational boards.

Cost The construction of the playground amounted to PLN 410,000 and was financed as part of the project "Creation of new nursery places in Ełk - increasing activity professional care of parents and guardians, through the creation of new places of care over children up to 3 years of age", from the funds of the Regional Operational Programme Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship for the years 2014-2020.

Project is implemented by the City of Ełk from July 1, 2021, and its completion is scheduled for June 30, 2023. is the current functioning of the Municipal Nursery No. 2 in Ełk (i.e. min. Salary of caregivers, nurses, janitors, authorising officers, cooks, help kitchen, meals for children, as well as charges related to heating, water, electricity, etc.). In addition, the nursery is equipped with toys, teaching aids and necessary equipment.

Total the value of the project is PLN 3,954,876.31, including:

- EU contribution: PLN 3 361 644,86,

- domestic funds: PLN 395,329.80,

- own contribution of the City of Ełk: PLN 197,901.65.

Project is implemented in cooperation with the Warmian-Masurian Voivodship Labour Office in Olsztyn.
