All together we create a community in Ełk

People With disabilities they live among us and with us. Despite its limitations They work, pursue passions, love. Only together can we create a true and equal for all our small homeland – Ełk. To remind you of this obvious truth, about which some do not remember, the City Hall of Ełk prepared a film with the participation of Elks. We invite you to take a look.

In There are many people with disabilities living in Poland (about 3 million people, who are at least 16 years old and have a disability certificate). Estimates that there can be even twice as many of them. That's a huge number. Despite It is not always and not all so-called able-bodied people show understanding for their problems. And so little is enough: a little empathy, patience, willingness reaching out in times of need. Let's stop for a moment in the rush of everyday life, Let's look around and be humanly kind to each other.

The Ełk City Hall has prepared a video showing Elks with disabilities who live with us or next to us. Let's watch it and take a moment to self-reflect.
