Today (20 April) as part of the celebration of the Ełk Earth Days on John Paul II Square took place the action "Garbage You give it back – you get the tree."

People who brought electro-waste, in return, they received from the president of Ełk tree seedlings, i.e. pine, spruce, oak, Be birch. There were 500 seedlings to give away.

The main idea, organized from a few years in Ełk, the action is actively caring for the natural environment and a reminder of the importance of segregation, especially of e-waste, which They contain numerous harmful and poisonous substances.
