Welcome residents of Ełk for a meeting regarding the draft document entitled "Urban Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change for the City of Ełk by 2030'. Meet to discuss the important issue of hazard diagnosis climatic in our city.

Climate change is one of the the greatest environmental, social and economic threats. Therefore In order to be able to effectively prevent these phenomena in the future, work was undertaken on: development of the Urban Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change – a document strategic, which will effectively counteract the identified problems, increasing the city's resilience to projected climate change along with their consequences.

Dedicated activities have been designed adaptive primarily serving to improve the quality of life in the city. These activities in the coming years will require, on the one hand, strong support organizational and legal at the local level, on the other hand conscious society and those responsible for their implementation. We look forward to cooperation with residents.
