From 1 July 2023 Electronic applications for entitlement to family allowances can be submitted and benefits from the maintenance fund for the 2023/2024 benefit period. Applications paper Benefits Department of the City of Ełk will accept from August 1 2023 Applications can also be sent by post.

Criteria Profitable:

Benefits from The maintenance fund will be due from 1 October if the family income per person in the family will not exceed PLN 1,209.

Family allowances are granted, if the family income per person in the family does not exceed the amount of 674 PLN, and the criterion for a family with for a disabled child is PLN 764.

Determining The right to family allowances and benefits from the maintenance fund will be income for 2022 taken into account, taking into account income losses and yields.

Periods benefits:

Benefits from maintenance fund: from 1 October 2023 to 30 September 2024

Family allowances: from 1 November 2023 to 31 October 2024

Request for Granting of a maintenance allowance:

If the applicant submit a complete and correctly completed application by 31 August, The benefit for October will be granted and paid by October 31.

Applying In September, it will result in the determination of the right to benefits and their payment for October and November will occur no later than November 30. In in the event that the application is submitted in October, the granting of and Payment of the benefit for October, November and December will take place no later than until 31 December.

Note. Please note that as a result of submission of an application later than October, the right to a maintenance allowance will be determined from the month of submission of the application, without compensation for earlier months under the the applicable benefit period.

Conclusion on determination of entitlement to family allowances:

Applying together with the required documents from 1 September to 31 October, will result in determination of the right to benefits and their payment by 31 December.
