The tenement house at 14 Chopina Street has been built at the beginning of the twentieth century (year of construction: 1904) with elements of late historicism in the décor of the façade.

Ended renovation of the façade of the building, serving as a residential and service building. Works Included:

-        repair of scratches,

-        removal of old paint,

-        replenishment of cavities,

-        painting the façade,

-        restoration of balustrades and grilles,

-        painting the entrance door of the building.

Spring as part of the annual competition for grants for the restoration of monuments, after adoption by the Ełk City Council of an appropriate resolution, the president of the city of Ełk granted the Housing Community at 14 Chopina Street funding for works in the amount of PLN 50,000.
