Today (9 October) a conference was held at the City Hall with the participation of the Mayor Tomasz Andrukiewicz, Member of Parliament of the Republic of Poland Wojciech Kossakowski, Senator of the Republic of Poland Małgorzata Kopiczko, Starost of Ełk Marek Chojnowski and Director of MOSiR in Paweł Żuk and local media, where it was announced that the promise had been granted. for Ełk and the Ełk County from the Government Fund Polish Ład: Program Strategic Investments, 8th edition.

The City of Ełk will receive a total of almost PLN 30 million for implementation of two projects.

PLN 27.9 million of support for modernization of the Water Park

City Ełk will carry out a comprehensive modernization of the Water Park. Works in the Water Park will include the internal reconstruction of the Park, its expansion, thermal modernization and equipment and land development. For m.in, additional swimming pools and new ones will be built Slides.

Scope The planned investment will include:

I. Preparation of project documentation and obtaining the necessary administrative decisions;

II. Expansion and reconstruction of the Water Park, Including.:

1.    Changes in the construction of partitions Construction

2.    Reconstruction of premises and extension of the facility in the field of:

·         reconstruction of the existing "left wing" in the ground floor for cloakroom and sanitary complexes for outdoor pitches;

·         reconstruction of the entrance area, and the existing rooms of the "left wing" of the ground floor, on a saunarium with a cloakroom and sanitary facilities;

·         reconstruction of existing premises cloakroom and sanitary facilities on the ground floor;

·         extension of the existing hall with an annex with a swimming pool recreational area and paddling pool, a new dynamometer zone and new slides, the reconstruction of air intakes;

·         extension of the existing hall with an annex with a swimming pool for swimming lessons, swimming pool warehouse;

·         installation of 3 jacuzzi bathtubs;

·         development of the catering area;

·         reconstruction of the rooms on the first floor administrative rooms.

3.    Modernization of ventilation systems mechanical and air conditioning, remote monitoring of parameters

4.    Changes in the installation of water technology swimming pool:

·         replacement of existing installations, and construction of new ones to support the designed additional swimming pools;

·         reduction of electricity consumption pumps;

·         Peak Level Limitation demand for thermal energy;

·         remote monitoring of swimming pool water parameters and operation of technological installations;

·         introduction of heat recovery installations.

5.    Changes in heat and energy sources Electrical

6.    Changes in land use:

·         demolition of interfering with the new landscaping of the structure;

·         reconstruction of internal underground sanitary and rainwater sewage systems;

·         reconstruction of the car park.

Investment It will be conducted in the Design and Build formula.

Expected Completion date: 31 July 2026

Total Investment value: PLN 31,100,000

Amount co-financing: PLN 27,990,000

1 million PLN 997 thousand for the development of the building at 10 Piłsudskiego Street

The City of Ełk will develop the area around the historic building at 10 Piłsudskiego Street in Ełk built in the 20s of the twentieth century together with the Economic. There will be, m.in, an open-air recreation space with herbarium for growing vegetables and a ramp for trolleys will be built disability.

The scope of the investment will include, m.in:

1. Preparation of the site for the investment, including works demolition and earthworks;

2. Construction of a recreational gazebo with a surface paved under the gazebo;

3. Creation of a communication route with a surface paved with off-road stairs;

4. Creating a recreational space for relaxation on the outdoor dining with park benches and a herbarium for growing vegetables;

5. Construction of a wheelchair ramp (ramp);

6. Construction of parking spaces, including for people Disabled guests;

7. Partial fencing of the investment object;

8. Renovation of the outbuilding;

9. Hardening of the yard with solid waste containers;

10. Partial landscaping with greenery and including new plantings and restoration of lawns after construction works.

Expected completion date: 30 May 2025 r.

Total value of the Investment: PLN 2,350,000

Budget: PLN 1,997,000

During the conference, the also a symbolic promise for the reconstruction and adaptation of a building in Ełk Narrow-Gauge Railway, for which Ełk obtained funds as part of the second edition of the Monument Restoration Programme.
