Social Worker Day falls on Every year on 21 November, on this occasion today, the Mayor of Ełk, Tomasz Andrukiewicz, thanked employees for their commitment and service to other people. A meeting within the framework of the celebrations took place at ECRS "Stajnia".
Today (21 November) is a holiday for all public servants social workers. In Ełk Social Revitalization Center "Stajnia" Mayor Tomasz Andrukiewicz met with the employees of the Community Self-Help House and the Municipal Social Welfare Centre in Ełk. During the meeting, he thanked for the effort put into everyday work for the benefit of the city's residents. Emphasizing the role and the importance of the work of a social worker, which is often difficult and It requires a lot of sacrifices.
Social Worker Day is a celebration of all those working in the various social institutions that help others to overcome difficult challenges situations and provide basic living conditions.
