Janusz Majewski was born in 1931 in Lviv. Was director of television films, documentaries and television theatre performances, writer, screenwriter, lecturer. Long-time president of the Association Polish Filmmakers, Rector of the Warsaw School of Film Festival, lover of Masuria, ambassador of Ełk. He made his debut as a feature film director in 1966 many times award-winning "Lodger".
