The inhabitants of Elk remember the "Cursed Soldiers"

Today the National Day of Remembrance of the "Cursed Soldiers" is celebrated. Mayor of Ełk and representatives of municipal institutions laid flowers and lit candles at the commemorative plaque at Wojska Polskiego Street. Today at 6.00 p.m. there will be a Holy Mass in the Ełk Cathedral, and on Sunday the Memory Run - On the Wolf Trail.

As part of the city's celebration of National Remembrance Day "Cursed Soldiers", representatives of the city government headed by the mayor Tomasz Andrukiewicz, representatives of the county, representatives of the uniformed officers and municipal institutions, today (1 March) at 11.00 a.m. flowers and lit candles at the commemorative plaque on the building of the former headquarters of the District Office of Public Security in Ełk, which is located at ul. Polish Army 1. Today at 6:00 p.m. there will be a Holy Mass in intentions of the Cursed Soldiers in the Cathedral of St. Adalbert in Ełk

On Sunday (3 March) the 12th edition of the Trail Run will take place Wolf Memorial of the Cursed Soldiers at a distance of 1963 m. Start at 1.00 p.m.

The run will take place on the route: Parkowa Street (start) – ul. Kilińskiego Street – Wojska Polskiego Street – Zamkowa Street – lakeside promenade – Wojska Polskiego Street Parkowa (finish line).
