President The City of Ełk announced an open tender for public benefit activities for the for the city of Ełk in 2024

Goal is to strengthen the capacity of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) operating in the field of local and regional community, in particular by supporting initiatives and building social bonds and grassroots social activity.

One of the priority tasks for which a grant can be received is to support bottom-up initiatives of the inhabitants of Ełk in the field of greenery in the public spaces of the area Revitalizing.

To grassroots initiatives inhabitants in terms of greenery can include, for example: rain gardens, green gardens bus stops, roofs, facades and walls, retention ponds, basins, reservoirs, ditches bioretention, etc.

Boundaries of the Ełk revitalisation area are determined by:

·         from the south – the Ełk River;

·         from the north – Generała Władysława Street Sikorski;

·         from the east – the railway line and the street Jarosław Dąbrowski;

·         from the west – Wojska Polskiego streets, Adam Mickiewicz and Marshal Józef Piłsudski.

Green The grants will be implemented in the years 2024-2030. Estimated total value of the grant in all editions is PLN 400,000.

During the period 40 grants will be awarded for the implementation of the project.
