World Awareness Day Autism Day is celebrated annually on April 2nd. The aim of the celebrations is to encourage taking action to shape the right attitudes social pro-social activities and counteracting the social exclusion of people affected by autism and the support of their loved ones.

As part of the Ełk celebrations, today (2 April) there was a march "Elk for Autism", which set off from the square at Dos Patos restaurant in the direction of Copernicus Park.

Participation in the event was a An expression of solidarity with people struggling with autism. Among the participants The march did not lack accents of blue – the symbolic color of autism.
