Promenade at the Ełk Lake is one of the most attractive places in Ełk visited by residents, tourists and guests staying in our city.

Elk Also in this year's season, the local government opens up the possibility of presenting cultural activities, talents, passions, handicrafts and crafts in the areas along the promenade in the summer.

Goal is to make the promenade more attractive and to create additional space for meetings of e.g. musicians, painters, sculptors and other artists and creators who will be able to present the results of their activities there.

In This year, once again, the city is lending the land located at Ełk promenade.

Initiative is addressed to both Ełk artists as well as artists from outside our cities.

Important!

Presentation activity must not entail a financial benefit (it is not possible to sell on the promenade area).

What You Should Do do?

Every artist, or an association interested in the possibility of presenting at the promenade, by submitting a simple application to the Ełk City Hall, can obtain consent to make the promenade available free of charge in the period from 1 May to September 30, 2024

In The application should indicate:

• applicant's details,

• a proposal of the location and the size of the necessary area,

• the period / date for which the artistic presentation will be conducted,

• A description of the form and manner of presenting artistic talents.

Locations – What kind of area do we provide?

Shared There are four basic locations:

1. Promenade area near ul. Polish Army (in the vicinity of the former WSFiZ),

2. at Pulaski Street (in playground and basketball court),

3. at Pulaski Street (after south side of the pumping station),

4. at Nadjeziorna Street (after south side of the playground).

Exists also the ability to share other locations. Each application will be analysed individually. The safety of users will be a priority promenade, not to interfere with its normal functioning, not to restrict traffic pedestrians or cyclists.

Remark! Office Cities may refuse to give consent or revoke the consent given in the event of organisation of urban events/events in the areas concerned, or other important reasons, e.g. breaking the law, order, organizational or safety rules.
