May and June are the months in which which we will celebrate in our city Ełk Family Days under the motto: "The good of the family or overtime".

In as part of the above-mentioned celebrations, Ełk municipal units, parishes, schools, kindergartens, nurseries and associations have prepared a series of events that promote pro-family values and emphasize the importance of the family in life every person.

In As part of the celebration of Family Days, a total of 164 events will take place in our city. This year, you will be able to take part in m.in prevention and education campaign in an open environment conducted in the form of family festivals in Ełk housing estates and the Children's Day at John Paul II Square. initiative is to promote prevention in a broad sense, both among children and children as well as adults. Building family relationships is a particular priority and encouraging the local community to a healthy lifestyle, physical activity and popularizing sobriety ideas.

During the festivities A prevention point will be organized, where tips on a selected topic and prevention leaflets will be distributed.

Selected events

The first neighborhood festival will take place on Wednesday, May 22 The Family Celebration will take place in the Solidarity Park, from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m., Following:

- Tuesday, May 28 - Family Fest at the estate Konieczki, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.,

- Monday, June 17 - Family Fest at the Tuwima housing estate, at 17.00-19.00.

On Saturday, June 1, Children's Day will take place at John Paul II Square from 11.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. In the program m.in. Ełk city game with attractive prizes such as bicycles, scooters, speakers, vouchers and many others, as well as an animation zone with inflatables and music and dance performances on stage. A week later (on Saturday) 8 June) we invite you to the 25 Anniversary of St. John Paul II's stay in the Diocese of Ełk combined with the 50th anniversary of married life, which will take place at the John Paul II Square from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.
