Main contractor of the works, i.e.  Budimex S.A. informs that they will be works carried out to complete the works related to the implementation of task "Works on the E 75 line on the section Białystok – Suwałki – Trakiszki (state border), stage I, section Białystok – Ełk". Therefore, the temporary closure of the level crossing on line 41 (E75) is planned, and the entrance to the roundabout from Łukasiewicza Street in from 3 to 20 June 2024. 

Access users of properties adjacent to Słoneczna Street, Łukasiewicza Street and Ul. Sikorskiego will be provided and marked with plaques.

In order to reduce the difficulties in the The works will be divided into two stages:

- stage I from 3 to 17 June 2024 r.

In In the first stage, work will be carried out on the railway infrastructure, i.e.: laying slabs at the level crossing, subgrade, electrics, etc. and performance of road works, i.e. construction of the road and the construction of an island on Łuksiewicza Street at the entrance to the roundabout. On time construction site, pedestrian traffic will be routed around the roundabout through the adjacent a railway crossing in the direction of the pedestrian crossing on Witosa Street. After the completion of the works, pedestrian traffic will be routed around the roundabout and the newly pavement on the Łukasiewicza Street in the direction of the passage to Witosa Street. Due to the closure of the Sikorskiego and Łukasiewicza streets, it is necessary to introduce a detour through the streets Sikorskiego, Gdańska, Mickiewicza, Dąbrowskiego, Suwalska to the street Łukasiewicza. In order to minimize the difficulties, the passage of vehicles on Słoneczna Street through the roundabout to Sikorskiego Street and the Zatorze housing estate will be preserved.

- Stage II from 18 to 20 June 2024

In next stage, the Contractor plans to make a wearing course of the newly built roundabout at the intersection of Słoneczna - Łukasiewicza - Sikorskiego streets. Runtime construction works, pedestrian traffic will be routed along the pavement on Łukasiewicza Street around the roundabout and through a temporary crossing in the immediate vicinity of the crossing railway in direction of the pedestrian crossing on Witosa Street (directly next to the lineman's booth). Vehicular traffic will be redirected to a designated detour along Sikorskiego, Gdańska, Mickiewicza, Dąbrowskiego, Suwalska to Łukasiewicza Street. Access to ul. Łukasiewicza from ul. Sikorskiego Street will be led along the streets of Tęczowa, Staszica, Sucharskiego, Mazurska, Suwalska Street.
