The Ełk local government also in this year's season opened the opportunity to present the activities of the talents, passions, handicrafts in the areas near the promenade during the summer. The initiative is addressed to both Ełk creators, as well as artists from outside our city.

Promenade by the Ełk Lake is one of the most attractive places in Ełk eagerly visited by residents, tourists and guests staying in our city.

The aim of the initiative is to making the promenade more attractive and creating an additional space for meetings, e.g. musicians, painters, sculptors and other artists and cultural creators who They will be able to present the effects of their activities there.

Important!

Presentation of the activities may be associated with the achievement of financial benefit (it is not possible to sell on the promenade area).

What should I do?

Any artist, or association interested in the possibility of presentation on the promenade, submitting simple application at the Ełk City Hall, can obtain permission for free Making the promenade available from May 1 to September 30, 2024.

The application should indicate:

• applicant's data,

• a proposal of the location, and the size of the space needed,

• the period/date within which the an artistic presentation will be conducted,

• description of the form and method presentation of artistic talents.

Locations – what area do we make available?

Four Primary Locations:

1. The promenade area near ul. Wojska Polskiego (near the former WSFiZ),

2. at Pułaskiego Street (in playground and basketball court),

3. at Pułaskiego Street (after the southern side of the pumping station),

4. at Nadjeziorna Street (after the southern side of the playground).

There is also the possibility of Other locations Each application will be analyzed Individually. The priority will be the safety of the promenade users, not to interfere with its normal functioning, not to restrict pedestrian traffic or to prevent Cyclists.

Remark! The City Hall may not consent or withdraw consent for organisations to use the the urban events/events in question, or for other important reasons e.g. violation of the law, order, organizational or resulting from the safety rules.
