District Celebration of the Police Day

Today (19 July) on the Square John Paul II in Ełk, the District Celebration of the Police Day took place. During the ceremony Decorations and promotions were presented to outstanding police officers. In the ceremony was attended by, m.in the president of Ełk, local government officials and families Police officers.
National Police Day is celebrated on July 24, while the District Celebration of the Police Day in Ełk took place today (19 July) at the John Paul II Square. They were an excellent opportunity to express gratitude to the officers for their effort and sacrifice.
The ceremony was attended by m.in Member of Parliament Anna Wojciechowska, District Commander Police in Ełk mł. insp. Damian Bekulard, Ełk Starost Marek Chojnowski and Mayor of Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz.
The President thanked the officers for their actions on the to protect the safety and life of every human being. He wished a professional prosperity and that the service brings satisfaction to police officers, social recognition and respect.
