Today (July 26th) in the Ełk City Hall contracts were signed for the implementation of the "Innovative Ełk FUA" project. The meeting was attended by Deputy Marshal of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship Katarzyna Sobiech and Deputy Mayor of Ełk Artur Urbański.

The INNOVATIVE PROJECT OF THE EŁK MOF provides for the implementation of 5 mini-trams projects - thematic modules addressed to entrepreneurs from the area of Functional Urban Area of Ełk. Planned ERDF co-financing (85%) under FEWIM 2021-2027 and additional support to the state budget (5%) will amount to a total of EUR 1,150,000. The project will be implemented by the Park Science and Technology in Ełk in the period I quarter 2025 - II quarter 2027.

The implementation of the modules is planned in the following Order:

Two projects aimed at developing entrepreneurship in the Ełk subregion and the innovation and competitiveness of the companies, i.e.:

1)    STARTUP HUB – support for SMEs in the initial phase of development. Module scope includes: implementation of the incubation program, i.e. support for companies in the initial phase of development (up to the 3rd year of operation) by providing basic and specialist incubation advisory services, m.in. in the field of: accounting, legal, tax, patent, entrepreneurship, market analysis, marketing, design, technology, IT. Incubation program 24 SMEs will be covered. Completion date: I quarter 2025 – II quarter 2027.

2)    INNOVATIVE SME – development of the offer of pro-innovative PNT services in the field of specialist advice in the area of research and development by SMEs. Completion date: I-IV quarter 2025.

Three projects aimed at expanding the Park's offer with new pro-innovation services for companies by increasing the use of digital technologies in the activities of the PNT.

3)    PNT GAME LAB – creating a creative space to run business simulation workshops, development of the PNT offer in the field of design and testing of innovative products, services, processes and solutions for Design Thinking methodology. Completion date: I-IV quarter 2025.

4)   DIH – INNOVATION HUB DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES – preparing the PNT for the role of the Regional Coordinator of the Digital Innovation Hub (STAGE i), whose The task in this phase will be to provide basic information services in the field of digital transformation of enterprises. The project plans to is to increase the use of ICT in the activities of the PNT, as a result of which m.in a new pro-innovative e-service will be provided, including the initial diagnosis of the potential of digital transformation of enterprises. Completion date: February 2025 - IV quarter of 2026.

5)    ORIGINATOR'S ZONE PNT – creation of the 3D zone space, development PNT 3D scanning and printing services for testing or experimentation by enterprise solutions aimed at products or services they produce. Deadline implementation: II-IV quarter of 2026
