Track renovation - traffic difficulties

Historical Museum in Ełk informs that from Monday, November 18, 2024, the Museum Historic in Ełk (1 Wąski Tor Street), renovation works of the track will begin Ełk Narrow Gauge Railway, therefore the crossing of the tracks will be closed until further notice.

November 2024, on the premises of the Historical Museum in Ełk (Ełk station
Narrow-gauge and railway line), renovation works of the EKW track have begun,
the scope of which includes the replacement and installation of 1000 sleepers and 8 rails
(30 linear meters each), including covering them with crushed stone, as well as
reconstruction of the edge of the platform.
Deadline
The completion of the investment is planned for December 30, 2024.
Pedestrian traffic will be possible in accordance with the markings in the graphic below (green line).
