Subsidies for works on monuments in Ełk – call for applications for 2025

The Mayor of the City of Ełk has announced a call for applications for grants for works conservation, restoration and construction works at buildings entered into the register of monuments or municipal register of monuments, located in the City of Szczecin, Ełk. In 2025, PLN 150,000 has been allocated for this purpose. Applications can be submitted from 7 by 17 January 2025

The Mayor of the City of Ełk has announced a callfor applications for subsidies for conservation, restoration and construction works on monuments entered into the register of monuments or included in the municipal register of monuments, located in the City of Ełk. The competition is intended for owners and managers of historic buildings who want to obtain financial support for their renovation.

PLN 150,000 has been allocated for the implementation of the programme in 2025, which will be distributed among applicants who meet the criteria.

Who can apply for funding?

Subsidies can be received by entities with a legal title to a property entered into the register of monuments or the municipal register of monuments, which do not belong to the public finance sector. These can include:

Individuals
organizational units with the right of ownership, perpetual usufruct, permanent management, limited property right or obligation relationship.

What can the subsidy be used for?

The co-financing covers a wide range of conservation, restoration and construction works, including, m.in,

preparation of technical and conservation expertise,
conducting architectural and conservation research,
preparation of documentation necessary for renovation works,
securing the building structure, including repair and replacement of the roof truss,
renovation of façades, plasters and architectural details,
renovation of window and door joinery,
installation of anti-burglary, fire protection and lightning protection systems.

The maximum level of co-financing of projects from the city budget is up to 50% of the outlays necessary for the performance of conservation works by the applicant determined on the basis of the work program approved by the competent conservation services.

The total amount of subsidies for conservation, restoration or construction works on a monument granted by the minister competent for culture and protection of national heritage, the provincial conservator of monuments or obtained from other public funds, including the city budget, may not exceed 100% of the expenditures necessary to perform these works or works.

Deadline and place for submitting applications

Applications for the subsidy can be submitted from 7 to 17 January 2025 during the working hours of the Ełk City Hall. The documents should be delivered in a printed version to the general office of the office (room 02) in a closed envelope with the note: "Competition for granting a grant for conservation, restoration or construction works on the monument".

Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
