The Ministry of Health informs about the completion of the evaluation process applications submitted in the call for proposals under the investment "Development of long-term care by modernising the infrastructure of healthcare entities at the level of county".

ProMedica Sp. z o.o. Hospital has received a positive recommendation for the implementation of the investment. After signing the contract, the facility will receive co-financing from the Ministry of Health in the amount of PLN 16,375,521.50 for long-term/geriatric care investments.

Financial support will help to improve standards of care and treatment of seniors and people requiring constant care in the district.

Within the allocated amount, the hospital plans to build of a new building with infrastructure and equipment, for the needs of the Plant Nursing and Care Centre and the Care and Treatment Centre, with simultaneous expansion of the bed base and facilities, which will directly translate into shortening the waiting time for care. The new building will be connected to the complex hospital underground connector and will be built on an undeveloped part of the plot of land, next to the Hospital. The currently existing Facilities have 37 beds. In As a result of the project, the number of beds will increase to 52. In addition, each room will have its own bathroom.

The designed building provides:

• teams of offices to conduct research and treatments (examination rooms, occupational therapy rooms, rehabilitation rooms),
• a complex of nursing rooms in the composition, which includes: 20 patient rooms (2-3 people) with hygiene and sanitary facilities, 1 isolation room with a lock and hygienic and sanitary facility in the vicinity of the nurses' office with a preparation room,
• farewell room,
• hygienic and sanitary facilities of the staff,
• warehouse facilities,
• cleaning and technical facilities.
