Waste Management Company "Eko-MAZURY" Sp. z o.o. informs about the launch of a new service – Mobile Selective Collection Points Municipal Waste (MPSZOK). The initiative is implemented in the as part of a project co-financed by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water.

The aim of the project is to improve the efficiency of waste management by:

• increase in the amount of separately collected waste
• Reducing pollution of bio-waste
• Increase recycling rates

Locations and schedule of MPSZOK in Elk

• 17.04.2025 – John Paul II Square, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• 22.04.2025 – 11 St. Maximiliana Maria Kolbe Street, parking lot at MOSiR, at 11 9:00-13:00
• 23.04.2025 – Piłsudskiego Street, parking lot at the Stadium (in front of the gate), 9:00-13:00
• 24.04.2025 – 1 Majora Piwnika "Ponurego" Street, parking lot at the School Primary School No. 3, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Residents will be able to donate free m.in: paper, glass, metals, plastics, biodegradable waste, small equipment electronics, textiles, expired medicines, batteries, accumulators, fluorescent lamps and used tires (without rims).

Rules for using MPSZOK:

• waste is accepted free of charge from private individuals
• waste must be properly segregated and enable identification by the employee
• An employee may refuse to accept waste if his or her disposal would be contrary to the law or would pose a risk to the

The new service will increase the access to waste collection points and will make it easier for residents to segregation.
