City of Ełk signed a contract for the renovation of the wooden platform located on the Ełk Lake, between Jeziorna Street and Mother Teresa of Calcutta Street. Scope works provide for the dismantling of the existing surface, handrails and elements and then the construction of a new larch wood pier, adapted to long-term operation in outdoor conditions.

In the proceedings tender procedure, the most advantageous offer was submitted by the company Budownictwo Inżynieryjne "P-O MOST" Paweł Osiecki, who was selected as the contractor of the task. According to the provisions of the contract, the company has 120 days to complete all works, from 31 March 2025. This investment aims to improve the safety and comfort of users and increasing recreational values this part of the city.
