NATO soldiers visit the town hall

Representatives of NATO troops stationed in the military unit at the Land Forces Training Center – Orzysz in Bemowo Piskie visited the Ełk City Hall today and met with the President of Ełk.
The meeting, which took place on May 13, 2025 in the town hall, was attended by soldiers representing the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's Forward Presence Battalion Battle Group. The meeting was attended by LTC commander William Branch, as well as contingent commanders from Great Britain, Romania and Croatia. President Tomasz Andrukiewicz emphasized the importance of cooperation with the army. He also invited everyone to take advantage of the sports and recreation offer in Ełk, which this jubilee year is exceptionally diverse and attractive. The soldiers declared their participation in events that are an important element of the Ełk jubilee celebrations.
