The Mayor of the City of Ełk announces the start of consultations on the proposal to introduce a restriction on the sale of beverages alcoholic beverages intended for consumption outside the point of sale. Suggested The restriction would apply from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and would apply to retail outlets, such as shops, supermarkets or fuels. The regulation does not apply to catering establishments where alcohol is eaten on the spot.

How can you express your opinion?

• Pass on opinion by traditional mail or in person by means of a completed and signed consultation form together with the data processing clause, at the time of the consultations, to the address of the Ełk City Hall, Marsz Street. J. Piłsudskiego 4, 19-300 Ełk,
• provide an opinion electronically, during the consultation by sending a consultation form with a processing clause data to the e-mail address: ps@um.elk.pl
• provide an opinion during the duty hours of the employees of the Department of Social Policy Ełk City Hall during the consultation from 8.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. in the building at Marsz Street. J. Piłsudskiego 2, room no. 1.

Consultation date

The public consultations will last from 25.02.2026 to 04.03.2026 After the consultation, a report will be prepared summarizing the opinions of residents, which will be presented to the City Council Ełk and published on the website of the Ełk City Hall.

The aim of the consultation is to learn the opinions of the inhabitants of the City of Ełk in on the proposal to introduce a restriction on the sale of alcoholic beverages from 10.00 p.m. to 6.00
