On the first day of spring, on March 21, a Forest Town will grow on John Paul II Square in Ełk. This is on the occasion of the International Day of Forests.

From 12:00 to 16:00 on all visitors There will be 10 educational stands prepared to bring closer the the subject of the functioning and history of m.in. surrounding Forest Districts and other institutions that are concerned with environmental issues close. It will be possible to meet foresters and get acquainted with their work for the benefit of protection and sustainability of our forests.

Each stand will have a task for visitors, puzzle or activity to perform. After completing the task, the participants they will receive a stamp. After collecting stamps from all positions in the tent organizers, it will be possible to pick up the prepared gift.

The event is of a family nature and is aimed at to children, young people and adult residents of the city and the surrounding area. 

Forest The town on John Paul II Square will be built in Ełk on Saturday, March 21, from 12:00 to 16:00.
