As a result of the call for proposals under the of the ministerial programme of the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy "Care respite" for Local Government Units - 2026 edition in from 26 January 2026 to 13 February 2026 to the Municipal Centre Social Welfare in Ełk received 30 application forms.

From February 16, 2026 to February 27, 2026, verified all applications, of which 25 were awarded care services respite, 4 people were entered on the reserve list, during the verification 1 person submitted their resignation.

Respite care services will be provided as part of a day stay. The program will be implemented from April 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026.

Total amount The implementation of the task amounts to PLN 258,290.00, of which:

• Solidarity Fund in the as part of the ministerial programme of the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy of the "Respite Care" Programme – 2026 edition in the amount of PLN 242,800.80.  
• own funds for the implementation of the task in the amount of PLN 15,489.20.
