The call for applications in the twentieth edition of the competition for the White Lily Award for outstanding contribution to the development and promotion of the city of Ełk for 2025 is underway. The White Lily Awards have been awarded annually since 2007. The idea of the award is to distinguish people who serve the city and its inhabitants in a special way with their daily work, activity and commitment, and contribute to the promotion of Ełk.

The awards are given to natural persons, legal entities and other entities for special achievements in the previous calendar year or for the entire activity in 8 categories:

1. Patron of Sport,
2. Athlete of the Year,
3. Artistic Award,
4. Patron of Culture,
5. Ambassador of Ełk,
6. Entrepreneur of the Year,
7. Attitude Worthy of Imitation,
8. Special Award.

The award is granted at the request of:

• President of the City of Ełk,
the
• Chairman of the Ełk City Council or a group of 5 Councillors,
• other government and local government administration bodies,
• non-governmental, social, economic, professional, trade union organizations,
• local, regional and national media,
• a group of 25 adult natural persons permanently residing in the city of Ełk.

Applications can be submitted to the General Chancellery of the Ełk City Hall or sent by post.

Deadline for submission of applications: 30 April 2026 inclusive.
