Contactless payment will be launched in city buses as early as mid-July.

This modern solution will ensure that passengers will not have to worry about where to buy a ticket, and drivers will focus only on driving. Thus, traditional tickets will no longer be available on buses, but thanks to this, journeys will become smoother and safer.

The new validators will be installed at the middle door of the vehicle. They will be equipped with such functions as:

• Contactless payments: You can pay for a ticket in a few seconds by placing a payment card, an NFC-enabled phone or a watch on the validator.
• Menu in 4 languages: For the convenience of all passengers and tourists, the interface of the validators will be available in Polish, English, German and Ukrainian.
• Passenger information: The device screens will display the current route.
• Traditional validation: Passengers who are used to paper tickets will still be able to validate them in the current way.

It is worth noting that traditional tickets will not disappear from circulation and will continue to be available at points of sale.
