The tender for the construction of the playground has been resolved at Primary School No. 9 in Ełk. The city has already signed a contract with a contractor who will implement this investment.

It will be a safe space to play thanks to a special polyurethane surface that will be used to cover the area of the square. In addition, the whole will be fenced, illuminated and monitored.

The new play area will be equipped with, m.in:

• 5 towers,
• 2 slides,
• ladders,
climbing
• wall,
• fire pipe,
• "bridge" and "tunnel" type passages.

The youngest will also have at their disposal:

• hexagon for climbing,rope
• ladder,climbing
• bar and plates.

The equipment will also include a fitness kit consisting of from 4 towers, a rope passage, a point passage and a board walk.

Swings will be installed for all this, benches, baskets and new plantings.

The playground should be ready by the end of November 2026.
