The

tender for thermal modernization concerns the buildings located at 5 Mickiewicza Street and Armia Krajowa 38a. Funds for this purpose were obtained from the "European Funds for Warmia and Mazury 2021-2027".

The building at 5 Mickiewicza Street has over 550 m2 of area and the one located at 38a Armii Krajowej Street almost 130 m2.

As part of the investment, both buildings will carry out works consisting of, m.in:

• Making damp insulation of walls underground,Insulation
• of buildings, including: insulation of ceilings, ceiling, insulation of underground and above-ground walls,
• replacement of window and door joinery and window sills,Replacement
• of roofing with replacement flashings.

In the building at 38a Armii Krajowej Street, there will be a separate additional residential premises and sanitary and sanitary installations will be made electric.

In the case of the building at 5 Mickiewicza Street, it is planned to also, m.in. construction of pedestrian access from cobblestones, construction of stairs and replacement of lightning protection system.

Both buildings are under conservation protection, which is why The investments will be carried out under the supervision of authorized specialists.

Opening of bids that will be received during the ongoing tender procedure is planned for 1 September.

The aim of the investment is to reduce energy consumption, reduce CO₂ emissions and improve the comfort of residents. The activities will be carried out under the European Funds for Warmia and Mazury 2021–2027 programme, Priority 02 "Environment", Measure 02.02 "Energy efficiency – ITI Ełk".
