Happening in Ełk

Ełk captivates with its location in the heart of Masuria, in the land of a thousand lakes. A well-organized stay will provide you with an active holiday combined with sightseeing of the city. It is worth visiting one of the two beaches, indoor tennis courts, A 15-meter observation tower and a rope park in the crowns of trees. Unforgettable there will also be a ride on the historic narrow-gauge railway (which you can take on a leisurely journey to the town of Sypitki) and visit in the Railway Discovery Park. The city has a wide range of sporting events and cultural, in which it is worth taking part.

Among the proposals are sports events such as m.in. European Jet Ski Championships, XV Masurian Balloon Competition, Star North (cycling marathon) or novelties such as: Championships Polish in Water skiing behind a motorboat, extreme obstacle course Hunt Run.

Cultural proposals include, m.in, the Literature Festival and Music "Ełk – will be read", Masurian Cabaret Summer "Mulatka", World Folklore Festival "Rainbow" and concerts of French, jazz and rock music, Blues.

There will also be attractions for enthusiasts of fishing, chess, swimming, cycling and football, volleyball and basketball. In martial arts tournaments are also included in the calendar. This year also anglers will compete during the competition, and beekeepers will present the most delicious in the honey region.

• Elk Latin Festival (July 8-10) - lovers of Latin dances improve their skills under the supervision of qualified instructors from Polish and from abroad, and the starting groups learn the basics
• Polish Water Ski Championships behind a motorboat (8-10 July) – water skiing competitions, jumping behind the motorboat
• 27th Masurian Cabaret Summer "Mulatka" (14-17 July) – cabarets from all over Polish are fighting for the title Best
