Already 26 October (Monday) on John Paul II Square in Ełk, from 1:00 p.m., The next edition of the tree seedlings distribution campaign will begin. Everyone A resident who will bring a plastic bag textile and clothing waste or e-waste will be tree seedlings!

Rules of the campaign:

One seedling can be obtained for:

• plastic bag textiles/clothing,
• or 10 pcs. batteries
• or small electrical waste (e.g. telephone, charger, computer mouse).

Important! You can get a maximum of two seedlings per person.

To 500 seedlings will be distributed (m.in. spruces, pines, beeches, maples), which will be donated by the Mayor of the City of Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz.

In addition, the Ełk Forest District will distribute 2 thousand seedlings of four-year-old spruce. It will be a great opportunity to talk to foresters about forests, trees and nature conservation.

During the event you will also be able to talk to the energy advisor of the Ełk City Hall and information about the "Clean Air" programme – m.in. in the field of subsidies for replacement of the heat source and thermal modernization.

Your position will also set up the Voivodeship Inspectorate Plant Protection and Seed Management (WIORiN) dealing with health surveillance prevention of risks associated with the marketing and use of plant protection products protection of plants, as well as the supervision of the production, evaluation, marketing and use of seed.

This is the 13th edition campaign – so far, the residents of Ełk have received and planted as many as 6,100 trees!
