As the President of Elk, Tomasz Andrukiewicz has submitted the draft budget to the City Council already 12 times. Today the Councillors's budget, which this year reaches the level of a little more than a million 304.5. It was developed primarily on the basis of the conclusions of the residents, Councillors and city development strategies, and also the current needs and organizational capabilities and financial city.

The President of Elk Tomasz Andrukiewicz thanked Councillor for the adoption of the budget for the year 2019 and declared that this budget will want to perform jointly with the Council of the city.

-I am glad that a consensus has been reached and the conclusions that ladies and gentlemen Councillors submitted can be saved in the budget for the year 2019. The budget is, on the one hand the commitment, our shared responsibility and I believe that we will pursue in the coming days, weeks and months. - said President of Elk.

Income provided for are at the level of the 271 million, including subsidies from the State budget will amount to 63.7 million. Involved in forming the State budget income tax (natural persons and legal persons) are planned at the level of 49.3 million, and revenue from taxes and charges (m.in. from real estate, means of transport, from the civil law transactions, market, the fee for the management of waste, the fee for the sale of alcoholic beverages) was 46.4 million. This year does not increase property taxes and transportation.

Spending will reach the level of 304.5 million, this will be a current expenditure m.in. on: education and upbringing, social assistance, health care, family benefits, land economy and housing, security, lighting, cleaning of winter road maintenance, transport, maintenance of municipal buildings residential, municipal economy and environmental protection, culture and protection of national heritage and culture of physical-239.8 million. In turn, financial expenditure planned amount 64 million, including investments and investment purchases-61.3 million.

This year will be carried out a number of investments, including with the participation of EU funds

Within the framework of the project of rebuilding the communication line 3 and 5 in order to improve the public transport in our city as Prime Minister will be ul. Bora Komorowski and will retrofit ul. Polish Army, together with a crossroads of streets of the Castle and of the home army.
