The first call for proposals in March.

EU support can be directed to persons or families from the town of Ełk and/or the municipality of Elk that are at risk of poverty or social exclusion, their surroundings and the residents involved in the project.

Amount foreseen for financial support in this contest is 2.6 million. While the support rate can reach up to 95% of the expenditure to be incurred in the framework of the project.

Funding you will get on:

1. The implementation of integrated social services using at least three different forms of support, m.in. by:

·  Specialist guidance

·  Support in solving family problems

·   Support victims of domestic violence

·   Services to support the proper functioning of the family and contributing to improve the quality of everyday life

·   Financing your stay in homes supported for people with disabilities/people dependent

·   Care services/Personal Assistant services for older people/people with disabilities

·   Educational services-education for children and adolescents (m.in. day-care centres, nurseries, environmental)

2. the implementation support services the integration of families with local environment, leading to active participation in the life of the local community and to take action on its behalf.

(e.g., activation of local environments in order to create social forms of self-help, family picnics, to support families in their environment, in particular through streetworkera services and animator).

* Project type # 2 can be implemented only in conjunction with project type # 1.

Funding will be able to apply for m.in :

·   non-governmental organisations on the basis of statutory records in the area of assistance and social integration;

·   social economy entities;

·   Government entities, their associations and unions;

·   organizational units of local government units, social assistance.
