In relation to persons, which fail to fulfil this obligation, the municipal services will draw consequences. The Municipal Guard pays special attention to this and can punish the owners quadrupeds: instruction or criminal fine. However, in the event of refusal acceptance of the mandate, applications for punishment will be submitted to the court.

On the territory of Ełk (m.in. on the promenade, in parks, at squares) there are special distributors bags with biodegradable bags for animal impurities, which are supplemented by employees of the Municipal Property Department.

We also ask for not choosing "in stock" bags. The result is that distributors  they remain empty, and are intended to serve more people. Not infrequently there are such situations that the employee supplementing the bags returning the same by road, he must perform the same action again.
